Just sketching and making up stories before bed last night… Here’s a warlock and his plus one. I hope to learn to draw better so I can tell stories properly someday. :)

I royally screwed up the arm and probably the knee as well. I also need to study composition soon… There’s a cross in there that I’m not sure of. Anyway one lesson at a time. You can follow my learning blog to see my studies. :)

While I’m working on new stuff, here’s something old that I did back when I was freelancing. My colors on Jiro’s pencils.

Going to start being active online again. I decided to lie low last year and focus on work and my relationships. It was great and I’m glad I did it. Now I’d like to go back to pushing for improvement. The first step was getting rid of bad habits, and it will be a continuous battle against myself, but so far so good. :) I read somewhere that successful people don’t ask what’s wrong with it, but what’s right with it. Sure there’s nothing wrong with it, but if it doesn’t help me get where I want to go, then it’s excess baggage. It’s clutter and it needs to go.

Forgot to post this. I was commissioned to color these bgs for Shut Up Cartoon’s OHB Origins. Lines & the colors for the stage were done by Angela Sung. :)

This was my last freelance project before I went back to working fulltime. Freelancing was a lot of fun and a lot of hard work. I learned a lot in those 2 months.
